Green Valley Creek Water Resources Public Meeting

Please save June 10, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. to attend a public meeting to discuss watershed planning in Green Valley Creek. We have extremely well-informed speakers who will be presenting water resources information and answering relevant questions. This meeting will be valuable to those who wish to understand fish and water, and the voluntary efforts currently underway to support those valuable resources. Refreshments from local (i.e., within the Gold Ridge RCD area), agricultural producers will also be provided.

Planned Speakers:

  • Brock Dolman (OAEC): Overview of Russian River Coho Water Resources Partnership
  • Mariska Obedzinski, Fisheries Biologist (UCCE): Coho Broodstock Program
  • Matt Deitch, PhD, Hydrologist (Center for Ecosystem Management and Restoration): Streamflow and Hydrology of GVC
  • Brian Johnson, Water Rights Attorney and Manager of Trout Unlimited's (TU) California Water Project, and MaryAnn King, Stewardship Coordinator for TU California Water Project: Water Rights 101 and Options Available to Landowners
